Pluggin' Away

I'm trying so hard to make some headway on my To Do List, here's how it's going:

1. I finally sent out the first newsletter for my website. I had planned to do this in March. Uhhh, yeah, no rush.

2. My very good friend Catherine gave me this fabric to ma
ke some things for an auction at her kids' school. I finally finished these things yesterday, today they go in the mail with several orders I need to mail.

3. I made some tags using my tag-shaped paper punch. I'd been looking at those punches forever before I finally got one, with a coupon of course. I got about 50 tags from 2 sheets of paper, I used embroidery floss for the string. These will be included in whatever orders I send out before Christmas.

4. Nick brought the Christmas boxes in this weekend. I've slowly been going through them to see what's in there. Remember, I packed away most of my belongings over a year ago to move to the UK. It's like Christmas for me just seeing what's in those boxes. Slowly, the snowmen will infiltrate the house.

5. Yesterday, I signed up on Bloglines.com I've been really bad at reading all of your blogs lately, anything to help. Now you can add me to your Bloglines, and I can see what's new, but quicker. While perusing today I came across a few things I thought you'd be interested in.

- there's an article in the new McCall's Quilting Magazine about good quilting blogs. I want to check that out. I found it on HollyBlog.

- My friend LemonCadet was featured in Parents Magazine in an article about Etsy. Congratulations Mrs. Lemon, that's so great.

- Betz White has added some pin cushions to her shop on Etsy, they're so cute! Have you heard about her book? It's on my wish list already.

Here's to another productive day for everyone. Cheers!

I really need to do something about Bloglines as it's now taking me over 2 hours a day reading all the blogs I've got bookmarked and trying to leave comments. Either that or shorten my favorite blogs list--oh no, I just can't do it.

I'm so glad that your list is getting whittled away. It feels good to accomplish your goals.

Thanks for the shout out! I read you on my google reader.

I can't possibly read blogs every day so it's nice to see who has new stuff and just catch up.

I'll have to look into bloglines though. I hadn't heard of it.
