Imagine my delight when I found this fabric in my mailbox yesterday. I admit I'm way behind the times, but this is my first purchase of Japanese fabric. No foolin'. I think I've told you before what a dork I am, well this proves it. I have to say thanks to Matatabi for sending it so quickly and having such a great shop. I love it! And no, I don't know what I'm going to use it for yet. haha
I seem to be on a blue and red streak lately, you can see my new slippers in this yummy color combo below. I just made a new little zipper bag in a bright blue with cherries. Isn't it scrumptious? I'm way into these colors. I will have a softer version at my wedding.
And for all you crazy monkey fans, I will now be offering Nano Monkeys my Etsy shop. Little Errol will be listed tomorrow, soon he'll have some friends joining him.
I just ordered my first Japanese fabric too! I just got my first Japanese crafting book also. I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so!
ReplyDeleteFun fabrics! You are NOT a dork, lol. I haven't bought any Japanese fabrics...yet! I don't know how long I can resist.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle--you know what?? I have that cherry fabric--it IS scrumptious! The bag is so CUTE!
Smiles, Karen
Hooray for the nano monkeys - I may have to get one!
ReplyDeleteMwahhahahaha!
ReplyDeleteMy plans have finally come to fruition! First LeeAnn and now you! My scheme to infiltrate your fabric stashes with Japanese cute is working perfectly!
Now for Mrs. Kwitty....
That fabric is so cute! I haven't bought any yet either but my friend is going to Taiwan on Monday and is bringing me back some cute stuff for my birthday.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new fabric! I'm sure you'll come up with something fun. :) I LOVE the red and blue combo too. Very nice...
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely job! What kind of interfacing do you use for your pouches? Your work is so professional.
