On Wednesday, I decided to get myself out of the house and head into the city with Nick. It was a beautiful day and I just had to take a break. Turns out I got a bunch of wedding things done. I guess it's best to just go with the flow, eh? I hadn't really planned anything when I went into SF, but I was able to get some shopping done. I found my pink Crocs, got some makeup done at Macy's (I'm a no makeup kind of girl. I don't have any and I wouldn't know what to do with it if I did). I bought the ugliest bra ever at Victoria's Secret (which will be returned), then found the perfect set at Nordstrom (no photos girls, sorry...TMI). I even bought myself a little present at Bath & Body Works, this lotion smells so good. When I went out, I felt a tremendous sense of guilt, but in the end I made lots of progress! Hooray!
Now I'm off to fill some orders so I can visit the post office today. I must get those invitations in the mail.
I guess that's what happen when your into monkey business! Ha! 56 days! Craziness. If I lived closer you'd have some sewing help.
ReplyDeleteI dropped in on the Monkey shop the other day and saw that they were taking over your life. I guess it was a good decision to give them their own little home - congrats on the success!
ReplyDeleteAnd only 56 days - good luck with all of your prep!
Sounds like you are seriously busy! I'm sure that 56 days will fly by fast! I second leeann. If I were closer, I'd definitely be working my fingers to the bones for you!
ReplyDeleteWow, 56 days! Hmm... if I lived close to you I'm afraid I couldn't help you sew or make monkeys, but I could bring you coffee or something. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fun day! I'm wishing you smooth sailing on meeting your wedding day goals : )
ReplyDeleteIt's probably best that I'm not close by - all we'd do is talk and neither of us would get anything done! ; )
(P.S. "Bio Fit" sounds frightening!)
sorry your missing your sewing machine :( I'd go crazy without mine.
ReplyDeleteI love the excitement of the wedding buzz- used to work with brides to be and know those 56 days are goign to fly by!
