Happiness is a Warm Kitty
My little Jody is a sucker for the fireplace. He can lay in front of it all night. He gets so hot & toasty, I don't know how he can stand it.
I've taken my own advice and canceled both of my farmer's markets this week. I feel so free now. I spent the whole morning unpacking Christmas decorations. Maybe we can get a tree soon. I love the way a Christmas tree smells, mmmmm.
Now that I'm a woman of leisure, haha, I can get to work on my custom orders. I've got 3 handbags & a tote to get done for Christmas. It's still relaxing not having to worry about stocking for the markets, even if I'm still busy sewing. Really.

What a cozy spot! Since our fireplace is sealed off, my cat has to make do with the cable box. He loves laying on it!
Our cat Poe can spend all day sitting in front of the heating vent. She puts all four feet up against the warm vent.
I'm glad you are taking some time off. Good for you! : )
I'd take a cozy fireplace right about now. I'm heating up a bean bag to place my feet on. Brrr!
Wow kitties have the life dont they? Enjoy your leisure time:)
Our cat Season lays directly on top of the heating vent every time it turns on. It's cold here, so the heat is one a lot!
Good for you for taking a little time off... or as my husband would say, "It's about time you took a "make-break"!" ;)
LOL--gotta love cats, they know how to live right! We have the old fashioned cast iron radiators in our home, and we keep a nice pillow on several of them so the cats can snooze in comfort!
Good for you for taking steps to eliminate some of the stress and enjoy your Christmas a little! Yeah!
Smiles, Karen
Good for you in slowing down to allow time for truly celebrating the season.
I hope your custom orders are coming along...
I wanted to let you know that I am tagging you (if you haven't been tagged already)! You have to share 7 interesting facts about yourself (if you want to). You can find the details on my most recent posting...
Pirate monkeys unite!! ;P
'Tis true. Particularly for all the full-time crafters out there, you do need to remember to take leave / breaks / holidays so you can come back all refreshed having fed your creative brain with other things.
