Not Much
I don't have much to report today so I thought I'd just share a couple things with you. First is what I love about the farmer's market. The market starts at 8:00am so I've got to get there fairly early to claim a good spot. One great thing about an early start is that I get to watch the sun rise. What a beautiful time of year this is too. Lovely. I also wanted to show you one of my new bags. The design is nothing special, there are 1,000's of bags out there like this one. I'm just really glad that I finally put my Freshcut fabrics to good use. They've been sitting in a drawer for way too long. I love these colors!

This style will not likely find it's way to my Etsy shop, there are way too many like it over there. I might offer it on my website, but first I need a good name. I've plum run out of girls' names for handbags. hmmm.

Have you used Ella (my daughter's name) or Renne (her middle name)? hee hee
ReplyDeleteDo you already have a Jane? Jane feels just right for this simple bag.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely bag...I think a "P" name like Priscilla, Patricia, Prim, Padma, Pamela, Parker, Peggy, Penelope, etc.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteDon't know why but I think it looks like a 'Myrtle' don't you?
Angela x
I love the colors too!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason Betsy popped into my mind.
Great photo. I love the market, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteI like Jane. At least I know someone named Jane. Hmmm. Great ideas everyone.
ReplyDeleteIn those colors it looks like a Holly Golightly to me.
ReplyDeleteIs that velvet trim?
It's a gorgeous bag--my first thought was a P name too--Penny (I am a little partial to that name
ReplyDelete;oD )
The sunrise looks beautiful!

I love that by adding all your comments you've managed to mention both of my grandmother's names (Ella Myrtle) and my mom's (Jane). I suppose that means you should name the bag "Ruth"! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat bag! and I love Heather Bailey fabrics, aren't they just gorgeous? I have made so many pouches out of them :)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny b/c I name my HBailey pouches too!
I've used names like Chloe, Emma, Heather, Eva, etc.
Maybe using a baby name site?
Such a lovely bag. I would love to whip up one of these.
ReplyDeleteI could see it as a "Fab Fiona Bag"
the glory of a sunrise. you lucky girl. i love the bag!
