Not just unpacking
I just wanted to mention that I'm still sewing. I spent a good part of yesterday on emptying boxes & building shelves for my sewing room, but I got to do a bit of sewing too. I bought the fabric for this bag about a month ago, wanting to add another one of these bags to my shops. Here's the result.
Maybe tomorrow I can make some small stuff. I've got booties cut out and really want to make some new pennants. Gotta prep for my craft booth. I will need lots of things on display when I set it up and take pictures.
Now I'm off to chop up some of the yummy veg I got at the Farmer's Market yesterday. mmmmmm

I really like the colors in this bag. Saw your comment about Chicago. It is a nice time of the year to hang out in the city. But October is very nice, too - all the changing colors of the leaves. It's a nice city to visit anytime, well, except maybe in January. :)
Wow, that bag is really beautiful. I especially like the rick-rack. I love rick-rack in theory but am never sure what to do with it.
Thanks so much for your Sense and Sensibility recommendation! It's now on my list.
Wow! That is a beautiful bag! Lovely fabric.
I also love getting veggies from Farmer's Markets :)
I really like this one. I just saw you on the etsy showcase and noticed this bag.
great bag! Love the rick rack.
I live for the farmer's market each week. I just love the fresh veggies!
I'm looking forward to seeing all your fabric and your new shelves!
Your bag turned out terrific :)
Great new bag (of course, I love ALL your bags!) I was just over at JennMaruska's blog and saw the adorable keychain you made her! did I say ADORABLE?!!
I'm glad you mentioned the farmer's market--ours is only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays--and I usually forget! I'm gonna go.
Smiles, Karen
This bag is so pretty. I also love the rick rack and the colors. Kinda matches my Hollie Hobbie plate you were eying...LOL
Hooray! I sold it! Back to the old sewing machine.
